Michael Mihm has 24 years of civil litigation and trial experience involving a wide variety of business disputes and professional liability claims. He represents businesses and individuals in business fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, corporate "squeeze out" and legal malpractice cases. He also handles catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases.

In 2006, 2007 and 2008 Mr. Mihm was named a "Colorado Super Lawyer" in the area of business litigation by the publishers of 5280 Magazine and Law & Politics Magazine. He is rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell.

Mr. Mihm is one of Colorado's most experienced legal malpractice trial lawyers. Mr. Mihm has represented some of Colorado's most prominent lawyers and law firms, and has tried numerous legal malpractice cases on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendant lawyers. He is the Managing Editor of Lawyers' Professional Liability in Colorado, Second Edition, a 34-chapter book on the law of professional liability and professional ethics in Colorado, published in 2005 by the Colorado Bar Association, and he edits the annual updates. Mr. Mihm and his associate lawyers also contributed six chapters to the book. He also authored more than half of the chapters in the first edition of the book, first published in 1999.

Mr. Mihm is a former chair of the Colorado Bar Association's Lawyers Professional Liability Committee. He is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education seminars on topics ranging from trial advocacy skills to professional liability issues. He is admitted to practice in both Colorado and California, and has successfully represented clients in both states, as well as in other states.
