Elizabeth Starrs is one of the most experienced and respected civil trial lawyers in Colorado. She is the Immediate Past President of the Colorado Bar Association for 2006-2007, providing leadership to more than 15,000 Colorado lawyers. She is a Past President of the Denver Bar Association.

Ms. Starrs is the first Colorado woman to be inducted into the prestigious International Academy of Trial Lawyers, and only the third Colorado woman to become a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers. She has tried numerous medical malpractice cases, and she also has the distinction of having tried more legal malpractice cases than any other lawyer in Colorado. She was part of the team that successfully defended Colorado's first defective breast implant trial, and she has tried employment cases involving well known and high profile companies and individuals. She is an Advocate Member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and was President of the Colorado Chapter for 2007. Ms. Starrs's practice extends to mediation of all sorts of civil disputes, including business, contract, employment, shareholder fraud, and healthcare. Ms. Starrs has been a practicing attorney since 1980, and she is admitted to practice in both Colorado and Massachusetts.

In 2006, 2007 and 2008, Ms. Starrs was chosen as one of Colorado's "Super Lawyers" in the area of business litigation by the publishers of 5280 Magazine and Law & Politics Magazine. She is rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell.
