What We Do

Our trial practice focuses on plaintiff-side litigation in three principal areas: i) legal malpractice, ii) employment and wrongful discharge, and iii) commercial and business tort disputes. We also handle insurance bad faith litigation; real estate litigation; estate, probate and trust litigation; and select catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death litigation.

We are one of the few law firms in the United States that focuses on representing plaintiffs in legal malpractice lawsuits. The firm was designated by U.S. News & World Report as a regional Tier 1 law firm in the fields of Legal Malpractice Law - Plaintiff.

Our employment litigation practice focuses on representing senior executives, in-house counsel and middle-management employees in disputes arising from compensation agreements, non-compete agreements, gender and race discrimination, civil rights, wrongful discharge, whistle-blower matters, or internal investigations.

Our commercial and business tort cases often involve contract disputes, corporate control disputes among owners of closely-held companies, non-compete agreements, or issues of breach of fiduciary duty, self-dealing, theft of intellectual property, fraud, equity stripping, and other misdeeds.

While we represent many clients on a traditional hourly fee basis, we also represent a significant number of our business and individual clients on a contingent fee or hybrid contingent-hourly fee basis.

We handle lawsuits in courts throughout the southwestern United States.  We are currently representing or have recently represented clients in state or federal courts in Arizona, California, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah and Virginia in addition to Colorado.
